Big Sima is proud to finally unveil his debut full-length album “Stereotypes Of A Polynesian Misunderstood”. Mixed, recorded and produced by the legendary Tiki Taane, this is the second Big Sima project to come out of Tikidub Solar Powered Studios since “The Underground King” EP in 2019.

Since then the ‘Underground King’ has been busy releasing 5 singles and accompanying visuals - the first being “Neverland” with the Summethieves, followed by “Back Up” with bKIDD and of course, the socially charged “Revolutionaries” with Tiki Taane and Seka. In 2022 there was no sign of slowing with the release of “Truth” with Timmy Porter and more recently “The Student” with Boomtown & Nazarite.

The list of accolades already received by Big Sima is quite surreal considering that pre-release, half of the tracks have been played on radio countrywide. Both ‘Neverland’ and ‘Truth’ have charted with ‘Truth’ gaining a spot in the top ten, and top 20 most-added to radio songs for March 2022.

Over 10 tracks, “Stereotypes Of A Polynesian Misunderstood” takes you on a journey, sharing a barrage of life lessons learnt. From stories of triumph and those of loss, to those of pride and those of pain, this is an album that should be celebrated as a complete body of work, and no doubt will be from the moment that it’s consumed.
